The key support activities provided by the MGFI for doctors, nurses
and other medical health care professionals are:
 | provide physicians with the latest MG research
developments so as to avoid misdiagnosis and delay in treatment. |
 | work with nurses and help them understand and
respond to the special needs of the MG patient. |
 | provide information on MG, treatment options and
services to all healthcare professionals in Illinois. |
 | provide videos and manuals for physicians,
nurses, and paramedics |
The MGFI maintains a small
Library of technical
books and brochures at the office. If you are a health care professional please contact our

Nurses Video
A new video will be available shortly, largely
sponsored by the MGFI, for nurses and other health professionals.
The video is educational in nature and provides information about
the clinical presentation and diagnosis of myasthenia gravis.
