The key support activities provided by the MGFI for doctors, nurses and other medical health care professionals are:
 
bulletprovide physicians with the latest MG research developments so as to avoid misdiagnosis and delay in treatment.
bulletwork with nurses and help them understand and respond to the special needs of the MG patient.
bulletprovide information on MG, treatment options and services to all healthcare professionals in Illinois.
bulletprovide videos and manuals for physicians, nurses, and paramedics

The MGFI maintains a small Library of technical books and brochures at the office.  If you are a health care professional please contact our office for details.

Brochures.  A package of brochures is available free of charge from the MGFI for health care professionals to give to new patients.  The package includes:

Nurses Video

A new video will be available shortly, largely sponsored by the MGFI, for nurses and other health professionals. The video is educational in nature and provides information about the clinical presentation and diagnosis of myasthenia gravis. Contact the office for details.
